Please join Mosquito Hawk Gallery in welcoming Adam Miller. Known for his contemporary figure paintings, he has been described as a "rising star of realism". At the young age of 16, he was accepted into the prestigious Florence Academy of Art in Italy. Classically trained, he studied the masterpieces of the Renaissance and post academy traveled extensively throughout Europe to study the masters.
Adam Miller, who "would be considered a master in any era", has been commissioned by Robert Pamplin Jr, Chairman of the Board of the Portland Art Museum and Eric Rhodes, publisher of Fine Art Connoisseur. He has exhibited in both the U.S. and Europe.
Opening reception is Saturday, September 4, 5-8pm and is available for viewing through October 4th.
