Join us for our first show of the 2010 season, Saturday, May 29, 5-8pm. "Stripped" is an exciting group show featuring five artists that integrate the naked body and its relation to the psyche, to culture and to desire. Working in both photography and paint, these artists explore the prohibitions and the risk of "exposure" and refocus our attentions on the materiality of the flesh. Stripped of all pretense, these images reintroduce us to the flesh as flesh, and hover delicately on the line between Aestheticism and Sexual desire. Featured artists include Grace Curtuloa, Mary Larsen, Elly Lesoon, Charles Ly and Alexis Martino.
